Financial Public Notification

WLSSD wastewater services are funded through user fees. Approximately half of the wastewater treated and funds collected at WLSSD comes from industries. The remaining half comes from residents and businesses; user fees are paid to municipalities that then pay WLSSD for wastewater services. Solid waste services are funded through the Solid Waste Management Fee.
